Italian ties inspired by Israel and Expo’s protagonists. On the occasion of the National Day, the Israel’s pavilion, in the presence of the ambassador, Naor Gilon, who awarded the young student of the Fashion and Design Institute of Vicenza, Giovanni Campagnaro, winner of the TrendIsrael2015 prize, organized by the Embassy and the Country’s Ministry of Tourism. «How I feel? Three meters over the sky» said the young creator who astonished everyone with his designed creation and ad hoc.
ELEGANCE AND SOBRIETY
«I inspired to the Menashe Kadishman’s masterpieces, a perished Israeli artist, in particular to the ‘Three disks’ and to the ram’s head of ‘Isaac’s Sacrifice’ in Tel Aviv. I chose small images that would give homogeneity to the tie, playing with the color shades: a stronger one for the pattern and a background one, to give elegance and sobriety».
A TIE TO NARRATE THE COUNTRY’S SPIRIT
At the contest, 34 young stylists participated, called to narrate the Israeli spirit through a tie: 10 of them have arrived In the final (with 12 ties), but it was Giovanni, aged 27, from Bassano del Grappa, to win the first prize, a three days trip to Tel Aviv, and the tie’s making of by the Ministry of Tourism and Israel Embassy.
